Sheera/ Sooji Halwa/ Kesari is traditional Indian sweet dish and very commonly served as prasad during puja or festivals. This is one sweet dish which can be easily prepared in short time and requires less ingredients. The term Kesari comes from mild Orange color rendered to the dish by Saffron (Kesar). If you do not have Saffron, you can add pinch of Orange color to the dish but its best to use natural colors than artificial

I have sweet tooth and no matter how much I try, I always tend to gravitate towards sweet dishes. You would find more dessert recipes in my blog than the rest :P. As a child I often used to wait puja to get over to eat Kesari, ladoos etc and this hasn’t changed much over the years ūüėČ
