This summer treat yourself to this delightful tasty smoothie topped with ice-cream. Since I have craze for dark chocolate, I have used it, you can use any chocolate as desired

If you wish to make it healthy, skip the icecream , only prepare the smoothie which tastes equally awesome. For nutritional benefits, you can use low fat milk or Soy/almond milk too. Since I prepared this for my kid, I have added icecream

Preparation time: 10 mins Servings: 3

Ingredients

  • 2 chopped ripe bananas
  • 3-4 tbsp grated dark chocolate
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1-2 scoops Chocolate Icecream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence
  • few ice-cubes
  • 1 cup chilled milk
  • 2 tbsp warm milk

Steps to prepare

  • Melt dark chocolate with 2 tbsp warm milk in microwave safe bowl. mix until lump free
  • Now add the melted dark chocolate with rest of the ingredients in a blender to form smoothie
  • Pour in cold serving glass, top with whipped cream or ice cream and garnish with chocolate chips or chocolate shavings
  • Serve cold
