This is a mouth watering Ice-cream made from fresh Pomegranate. It is eggless, requires no churn with fewer ingredients and efforts to make. This ice cream has such beautiful pink color , garnished with bright red pomegranate grains,it is such a lovely feast for the eyes and tastes amazingly heavenly.

The other day when I saw quite may pomegranates in the the market, I knew apart from making summer drinks and chaats, I just need to use this fresh fruit to prepare the ice-cream. Be it kids or grownups, everyone would just absolutely love this treat. This is one of the perfect drool worthy icecream

Preparation time: 15 mins Cooling time: 7 hours Servings : 5

Ingredients

  • 2 medium pomegranate peeled
  • 250 ml cold whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar – adjust
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

Steps to prepare

  • Blend 1.5 pomegranates with lemon juice to form smooth puree
  • Whip cream in a bowl to form stiff peaks
  • Add powdered sugar to whipped cream
  • Add pomegranate puree to the bowl
  • Blend well to form stiff peaks
  • Pour the ice-cream in cold air tight container and level evenly. Close the lid firmly.Freeze for 5-7 hours
  • Thaw ice-cream for 3-4 minutes. Scoop out to serving bowls. Garnish with remaining pomegranate grains and serve cold
