Delish ABCD Muffins, a marvelous delight to spice up your day. These muffins are so delicious that you just can’t stop yourself from having a bite. The relishing flavours, the taste , and the amazing aroma makes this mouth watering
I made an interesting observation that though these muffins taste better when warmed up but they actually taste heavenly when cooled completely, as the flavor sets in after few hours. Just warm up before serving and I am sure you would make these muffins again

*You can use mix of all purpose flour and wheat flour or only wheat flour or all purpose flour. I have used only wheat flour here
**You can add vanilla extract for additional taste. For vegetarians, substitute egg with yogurt

Ingredients
- 220 gms Whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup brown Sugar/Cane sugar
- 1 Apple peeled cored and grated
- 1 medium ripe Banana mashed
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/4 cup Dessicated Coconut
- 1 Egg or 1/4 cup yogurt
- 1/4 cup chopped Dates
- 1/2 cup canola/veg Oil
- 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp low fat Milk
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract – optional
- 3-4 tbsp chopped nuts/cinnamon sugar to sprinkle – optional
Steps to prepare
- Sieve dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda) in a bowl and keep it aside
- Whisk egg in a bowl.
- Add sugar and blend until pale and frothy
- Now add oil ,dates, apple,cinnamon and banana. Blend well
- Add desiccated coconut, mix well
- Alternatively and gradually add flour with milk, mix gently until just combined
- Fill 2/3 of prepared muffin tray or mould or fill upto brim
- Sprinkle nuts on top if desired or use cinnamon sugar. This is optional
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until done in preheated oven at 180 deg cel
- Allow to cool slightly
- Sprinkle brown sugar or cinnamon sugar for additional taste-optional step
- Serve warm , store leftovers in air tight container and warm them up before serving
